How Turkish Barbers handles your data

1. What we collect

We collect the details you provide when creating an account, booking an appointment, joining a waitlist, leaving a review, or contacting the barber shop. This may include your name, phone number, email address, appointment history, loyalty activity, and booking notes.

2. Why we collect it

Your data is used to manage bookings, send confirmations and reminders, respond to enquiries, operate loyalty rewards, review service quality, and secure the admin area against abuse and fraud.

3. Booking and communication records

Booking notes may be stored in encrypted form. Emails can be sent for confirmations, reminders, waitlist notifications, and post-visit review requests. Message logs may be retained for support and compliance.

4. Cookies

Essential cookies are used for session authentication, CSRF protection, and secure dashboard/admin access. Optional analytics cookies should only be enabled after consent.

5. Retention

We retain account, booking, and billing-related records for as long as required to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain operational backups.

6. Your GDPR rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask for account deletion from your client dashboard. For full details of your rights under Irish and EU law, read our GDPR information page. Requests are logged, reviewed, and processed through the barber shop administration system.

7. Security

The website uses session-based authentication, password hashing, CSRF protection, server-side validation, prepared SQL statements, and restricted upload handling for admin media actions.

8. Contact
